The juice of the four day old broccoli sprout has an abundance of Sulphorphane Glucosinolate (SGS) that helps prevent or treats cancer, macular degeneration, (eye disease) stomach ulcers, Alzheimer's disease, and ageing in cells.
Universities around the world have studied SGS and published studies showing that it is useful in the prevention or treatment of numerous conditions such as cancer, macular degeneration, (eye disease) stomach ulcers, Alzheimer's disease, ageing and many more.
But wheatgrass juice must be fresh, it must never have been heated or frozen otherwise the live enzymes will decay.
To get enough of the SGS to do the job requires about 2 kilos of broccoli a day. No one can eat that much every day.

Some commercially available products that call themselves wheatgrass or broccoli can have 25% or more of their content supplied by fillers such as maltodextrin.
But juices made from wheatgrass and four day old broccoli sprouts can be treated with very high pressure to kill the bad bacteria and leave the enzymes and SGS intact and available.
When these pressure treated wheatgrass and broccoli sprout juices are also given just a trace ( 0.2% ) of non-dairy lactic acid they will last for several weeks without refrigeration. This means that wheatgrass juice and broccoli sprout juice can
then deliver the live enzymes and SGS that people seek.
